HISTORICAL PROVENANCE
The Accent Chair Roumier reflects the opulence of a French armchair from 1788 in The Met collection. The original was one of 16 armchairs commissioned by master chairmaker Georges Jacob (French, 1739–1814) for the games room of Louis XVI at Saint-Cloud. Our dining chair celebrates the neoclassical elegance and meticulous craftsmanship of Jacob's designs.
