A table lamp instantly makes a sideboard, console table or reading nook more inviting. During the day, it’s a decorative object; in the evening, it provides light at a comfortable height. The CéJor Wonen collection includes designs by Eichholtz and Versmissen, with a variety of bases, shades and finishes.
A lamp in proportion to your furniture
On a narrow console, it’s not just the height that matters, but also the depth of the base and the width of the shade. Beside an armchair, you want enough light without looking directly at the light source. A translucent shade creates a different ambience from a closed or darker design. When choosing, check whether the shade and light source are included and what type of socket or dimming function is used.
Combine a table lamp with other light sources in the room so you can adjust the lighting to suit the time of day.
