Description
Horus combines a sculptural base in Copper Bronze with a linen-blend lampshade. The form is inspired by an Egyptian statue from the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The original depicts the falcon god Horus protecting King Nectanebo II. In this table lamp, the powerful figure is given a warm metal finish, softened by a shade crafted in the Netherlands; sculpture and lighting come together on a console or sideboard.
