A 4-seater or 5-seater sofa can provide a spacious living room with a clear foundation. In this CéJor selection, you can compare larger designs from brands including Eichholtz and Rivièra Maison. The number of seats is a starting point; check the actual width, seat depth, and configuration of the chosen model to assess whether the piece of furniture will fit.

Placing a large sofa appropriately

Mark out the complete external dimensions and check the free passage space around it. A wide sofa can organize a seating area, but it should not hinder access to doors, curtains, or other furniture. Also, compare the back height and the thickness of the armrests. These influence how large the furniture appears in the room and how much of the width is usable as a seat.

Straight sofa or a different arrangement

A generous straight sofa provides a different layout than a corner sofa with a chaise longue. For a wider seating area, individual armchairs or a loveseat can provide additional seating. If you are looking for more freedom in the layout, be sure to also check out the modular sofas. Always check which components an item contains and whether a wide sofa is delivered in one or multiple sections.

Upholstery, access, and daily use

When considering a large piece of furniture, also look at the route through the front door, stairs, or elevator. Compare the material description, color, and maintenance instructions for the chosen upholstery. The specific brand collections offer more options within Eichholtz or Rivièra Maison.
