An armchair creates a separate seating area in the living room, reading nook, or bedroom. At CéJor, you will find, among others, fixed and swivel designs from Eichholtz and Rivièra Maison. This general collection showcases various brands and shapes side by side, allowing you to choose based not only on appearance but also on seat height, depth, and backrest shape.

A swivel armchair or a fixed seat

A swivel armchair can connect a conversation corner with a window or the rest of the room. This requires sufficient free space around it. A fixed armchair, on the other hand, can provide a clear orientation to the layout. Also compare the position of the armrests and the height of the backrest. The total outer dimensions do not automatically indicate the seat depth or how much support a chair provides for your seating preferences.

What do you mean by a recliner?

If you are looking for an adjustable backrest, a fold-out footrest, or an electric function, please explicitly check whether the selected version has these features. A lounge chair or comfortable armchair does not automatically have a reclining mechanism. A separate ottoman can complement a seating area, but it must be appropriate in terms of height and distance. Use the product specifications to assess the functionality and dimensions.

Upholstery and proportion to the sofa

Light-colored upholstery can blend in with a calm seating area; a contrasting color makes the armchair more of a standalone accent. Check the composition and maintenance information of the fabric and compare the scale with your sofa and side table. For personal advice on an individual seat or a complete seating area, you are welcome to visit CéJor by appointment.
